Today, CDI-Government Services (CDI) is organized to deliver maximum efficiency
and effectiveness in support of our client's ship design, naval engineering,
aviation engineering and human-capital requirements, as outlined below.
CDI offers conventional and advanced marine engineering, and naval
architectural services, and specializes in the design, testing and development
of conventional and high-performance ships, craft and marine vessels and systems
with core competencies in naval architecture, hydrodynamics, structural design,
waterjet propulsion system design, concept exploration, early stage design and,
model construction, model testing and full-scale trials. Major competencies include:
CDI specializes in naval engineering and the design of ships, submarine and watercraft,
and their supporting systems and equipment. CDI's expertise includes ship design,
acquisition, construction, modernization, alteration, conversion, and maintenance, with
core competencies in Navy Planning Yard services, watercraft engineering, detail design,
logistics support, ship and submarine overhaul planning and testing, and ship maintenance
and readiness. Major competencies include:
CDI specializes in military aviation support equipment design, electronic manufacturing,
acquisition and life-cycle support services. M&T works extensively in the areas of aircraft
launch / recovery systems, and avionics support equipment with core competencies in
engineering, logistics, technical publications, program management, and electronic
manufacturing. Major Competencies include:
CDI offers its clients professional consulting and staffing support services
in support engineering, IT and program management requirements. CDI works with
its clients to provide expertise in ship modernization and maintenance, material
and system assessment and readiness, technology and process insertion, software
development, data management, strategic planning and process development. Major
competencies include:
